You can find lots (and I mean lots) of at 永久脫毛 which personally I wasn’t interested in. When it comes to lasers and intense skincare treatments I am one of those particular individuals who prefers to get a professional to work their magic on me, instead of attempting to become one by getting a kit from my local pharmacy. I visited a clinic in my hometown which had recently opened for some treatments.
I went along to about 2 sessions, but didn’t see any results – AT ALL. So, it was fair to state I wasn’t going to waste any more money. Strike one. FYI – I know those who have had treatments of IPL done (mainly all Asian/Indian skin types) and I happen to be told it requires plenty of sessions to view results. I have also been told by my current laser technician (and head trainer & educator of Polaris Hair Laser Removal) that IPL will not work with Indian skin and contains temporary benefits. It basically isn’t the most effective laser for long term hair-free fuss.
The next time round, I decided to go to get a YAG laser but to my luck, my technician had blagged her way into making me think she was doing us a favour. While in reality, her what are known as YAG laser was even more of an IPL treatment then everything else. I can tell you which it made my hair a bit fainter, but nothing drastic – and i also had at the very least 6 sessions. Once more, I wasted not just my period in travel but lots of money! Strike two.
Within the last 5 months approximately I have been seeing a lovely laser technician, who lucky for me, is based in the same county as me! I needed told her each of the problems I have had in the past with hair laser removal and she gave me her honest and professional advice. She explained for me that IPL isn’t very effective (especially on Asian skin) for 永久脫毛. It works whilst you are receiving it done but provide it with a year roughly and you will visit your hair regrowth returning. The penetration in the laser isn’t as deep and doesn’t concentrate on the hair follicle for the extent being a YAG laser does.
I then explained the so-called YAG laser treatment I was getting before arriving at her. Which is when she did just a little digging (in her own extra time) and informed me that I had been missold my laser treatment. The laser which I had been getting done was more similar to IPL than a proper YAG laser. It absolutely was even more of a diode – basically which means that I wasn’t going to get exactly the same results has I would personally have having a proper or do i need to say real YAG laser!
She then explained information on her laser. The laser she uses is the Long Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser by Polaris Medical. She actually is a specialist educator/trainer for this laser and has been doing the industry for two decades – she basically knows her shiz.
This laser can be used as hair removal of hair on all kinds of skin, light to dark. One of the main benefits of this laser is that its melanin absorption is extremely low. Melanin is exactly what gives the skin it’s colour. The greater melanin halbfl have, the darker the skin and the other way round. As a result of it’s low absorption of this, there is certainly almost no risk of your skin to have damaged by hyper/hypo pigmentation. Which means that the long pulsed Nd:Yag lasers is idea for for hair removal on medium to dark skin!
I will need to go with clean, lotion/potion free, make-up free, perfume/deoderant free and hair free. Yep, which means you must shave before hand (everywhere you want to target!). This can be so the laser can arrive at the folicle with no hair strands getting in the manner.
I have learnt the tough way by accidentally having some perfume in my neck and also the laser burning my skin – luckily it wasn’t that bad (my Elizabeth Adren Eight Hour Cream sorted me out!). However, this is common and can happen.
During Laser Treatment
Through the laser session, the part/s of the body are sectioned off (as you can tell in the picture above). The 永久脫毛 is utilized with the air-conditioning type cooling tube which is hovered over the area of the epidermis since it is getting lasered – this can be so you don’t experience the heat. The sensation of having this done is much like someone poking you using a needle. Based on your pain threshold and the area you might not feel it whatsoever.
